JST ERATO Kawarabayashi Large Graph Project / Minato Discrete Structure Manipulation System Project
Joint Workshop – “Yosenkai” (farewell gathering): Winter 2015
Algorithms save Onesan, and change the world
Two ERATO projects that consider algorithms as their research topic will meet to organize a joint workshop. “Yosenkai” (farewell gathering) is an old word referring to a meeting where students who are about to graduate and other students meet to present their daily academic accomplishments as farewell gifts (hanamuke). We expect that the researchers of the Minato Project who have entered its final year, emerging researchers of the Kawarabayashi Project where studies are progressing, and researchers involved in both the projects will interact with each other, leading to new developments through substantive discussions.
In addition, we will organize a meeting on the final outcomes of the Minato Project at the same place immediately after the joint workshop. We would appreciate if you would also participate in this meeting.
* Advanced knowledge is required for this workshop.
