About Network Algorithm Group
The Network Algorithm Group undertakes research into algorithms to optimize network structures and into various problems associated with networks in the areas of mathematical science, theoretical computer science, information engineering, and social science. Through uniting discoveries in each of these areas, the group seeks to apply the resulting algorithms to a variety of fields and create an advanced library of core algorithms. Further, the group aims to mathematically identify the limits of network algorithms, and apply technologies developed based on this understanding to information systems—particularly to Internet data mining applications—summarizing the mathematical science research results for application to real-life networks.
