French-Japanese Big Data workshop , which was held on Nov. 18 &19 at the French Embassy in Tokyo, Japan finished successfully. We shared research presentations from various point of views on how to apply Big Data. We are still looking for ways and we are still having lost of issues to clear in dealing with it. But we learned that the researchers are now striving for better future of the earth environment and human races to solve the problems like medical issues, disasters, global warming etc. with Big Data. We promised to organize further real collaboration between the two countries. From the project, Prof. Kawarabayashi and administrative staff assisted the workshop.
